Hereby I would like to call up the attention of all tourist are planning to travel to remote areas in Myanmar/Burma. At the last week of 2010 my friend was traveling alone far from the capital of Burma with the propose of taking pictures and filming the daily life of Burmese people when the secret police suddenly stopped him. Soon after he was jailed in a small and dirty cell without food and the company of two armed prison guards. At the police station besides the armed prison guards about 10 other men took pictures of him and shut video during they interrogated my friend. His laptop, camera and the camcorder was temporary confiscated until they made copy of the documents, files, etc.... My friend entered to the country with American passport. After 5 days fortunately he was released and deported to Thailand.
