Migrant crisis in Hungary

At Keleti train station in Budapest, where thousands of migrants had camped out for nearly a week, the trains full of migrants stopped at Bicske and taken off by police, near the refugee camp. A few hours later the refugees escaped camps along railway tracks and next day, thousands of desperate refugees from young children to the elderly march along the M1 motorway from Budapest towards the Austrian border.

To avoid the chaos, the Hungarian government provided around 100 buses to pick up migrants from Keleti and transported them to the Austrian border.

As the only photo & videojournalist with a friend of mine embarked one of the bus and documented the odyssey of refugees, started at Budapest Keleti station all the way to Nickeldorf, Austria. Some footage are available in Farsi, Pashto and Arabic.

HD Footage from the journey are available for news agencies and NGO's. Price depends on usage.

Fell free to drop me a line.
