Slightly out of focus

One of my favorite technique is taking low light shots. Creating slightly out of focus, blurry, grain images whether in black and white or color.

Robert Capa exhibition in Hungarian National Museum

Photo Exhibition titled Robert Capa / The Player opened on the 100th birthday of the world famous photographer in the Hungarian National Museum.

The Cornel and Robert Capa House in Budapest

A cloudy winter day I was walking in Budapest with my camera and I decided to stop at the house, where the world most famous legendary war photographer, Robert Capa alias Endre Ernő Friedmann lived with his parents and his brother Kornél, alias Cornell Capa who later established the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York. Robert Capa born to Dezső and Júlia Friedmann on October 22, 1913 in Budapest, Hungary.

The house is located in the Városház utca, where the family had an apartment on the third floor. The parents run a tailor shop at the house, which was located at the corner of Pilvax Passage.

Unfortunately there's no plaque outside on the house with the name and a short life history of the Capa brothers until today. I hope one day they will be honored.

Note: The Pilvax Cafe, where the leaders of Hungarian revolution of 1848 had gathered, was still open for business just around the corner from the apartment building's entrance. Since the Pilvax Cafe is moved in to the neighboring street. Currently a Guiness Pub has at the corner. Unfortunately there's no recognition on the famous building

The other photo was taken about Capa's high school (Imre Madách Gymnazium) from the corner of Barcsay utca, where his classmates often called him on his nickname "cápa" ("a shark").
